Hermetic Systems LLC specializes in the development, design and manufacture of highly reliable, hermetic glass-to-metal sealed feedthrough components and solutions. Our products are used in a variety of technical applications including aerospace, aviation, defense, automotive, oil and gas exploration, medical, industrial process control, and commercial applications.

Identifying the correct material pairings is critical to sealing performance and application. To accommodate even the most demanding sealing requirements, Hermetic Systems can produce a variety of sealing glass beads (preforms) as well as a range of compatible metals.

With access to advanced manufacturing methods for both glass and metal, Hermetic Systems can provide precision machined components. This reduces production waste, protecting customer time and resources.

Aided by advanced design software, connectors and substrates can be designed with multiple or single pin arrays, in any number of configurations.

Our closely controlled manufacturing processes can accommodate order sizes from prototyping to large scale and repeatable productions.

Hermetic Systems has also identified key local/US based partners in order to maintain domestic supply chains. Investing in these partnerships is key to meeting customer timelines and any potential security requirements.

Effective and robust GTMS are reliant on a number of conditions such as time, temperature, and atmosphere. Utilizing an exothermic generated atmospheric belt furnace, Hermetic Systems fine-tunes sealing parameters for each application. Tightly controlling these variables reduces scrap and rework rates, providing customers with more value.

All components and finished can be 100% inspected for form, fit, and function. Hermeticity of all finished products is tested using a state-of-the-art Helium mass spectrometer leak detector, that has been calibrated to a sensitivity level of 1x10^-11 Standard cc/sec.

Components and assemblies are subjected to rigorous cleaning standards, providing ideal surface conditions for subsequent plating processes. High purity Copper, Gold, Nickel, Titanium, and various other base metals or precious and semi-precious materials can be applied.

Delivery is provided in accordance with customer timelines and shipping requirements. Hermetic Systems continues to work with customers to ensure glass to metal seals are functioning as designed and exceeding customer expectations.

Complete hermetic assemblies consisting of single and/or multiple pin arrays, precision machined metal shells, and sealing glass beads are produced in-house, using controlled non-oxidizing atmosphere exothermic gas generator (Exo-Gas) furnaces.
